Bangkok: Police arrested eight foreigners and five Thai nationals while searching 17 houses in Sukhumvit district of Bangkok on suspicion of selling fake Viagra.
Lieutenant General Surachate Hakpal, director of immigration, said the operation was carried out late Friday until early yesterday morning.
Hakpal himself, along with the police and the tourism police, conducted searches at 17 sites frequented by tourists on Sukhumvit Road, along with Pfizer's representative Kevin Harrington, maker of erectile dysfunction drugs
Surachate quoted Harrington as saying that fake Viagra is dangerous because it is made of dangerous chemicals.

The operation seized 118 fake Viagra boxes, 1,667 controlled drugs, 396 sex toys and 345 fake brands-
