A picture at Bruce MacArthur's sentencing hearing was a red van from Bruce MacArthur.
Court show/Post Office detectives investigated MacArthur's family and after the police started following his old van they seemed to help him get rid of the old van, and helped him in a hurry to buy a copy of the document in August 2017.
Police spoke with staff at Windsor Chrysler about the purchase of MacArthur's replacement van and learned that a relative said he "wanted the cheapest van", the document said ".
He used the name of an employee of Chrysler Canada, presumably to reach an agreement on the price.
The relative paid a down payment of $2,000 to the van and said MacArthur would be the registered owner.

According to a report from the Center for Forensic Science, blood tests were positive at least 18 points on the van.

MacArthur seems safe and trustworthy: Not only did MacArthur perform well, but his victims were willing to come to his apartment or van for close contact, several of his landscaping clients believe he can enter their homes without control.
Police interviewed at least two couples who knew MacArthur outside of gay community life.
Both trusted him very much and gave him the keys to their house to stay at their house while they were away.
MacArthur had sex with a man who told police that MacArthur would sometimes take him to MacArthur's house --sitting.
He said MacArthur took pictures of him wearing a fur coat in one of the houses.
When a couple traveled to Africa in 2010, they had MacArthur stay at their place.
When the couple came back, they told police that MacArthur apologized "because he spilled Coke on the carpet in the bedroom ".
He tried to clean it several times, but there was an obvious black stain --about two-feet by three-feet —remained.
The question that is not answered is that it is cola, not blood, that causes the stain.

As police watched MacArthur two days before they planned to arrest Macarthur on January.

After a one-off act, MacArthur "grabbed the back of his neck in a powerful way.

The document said the man "felt that the encounter with MacArthur would be fatal if he did not escape ".
Police say the attack has increased the likelihood that MacArthur will kill other victims they don't know yet.
