The opposition has demanded an immediate ban on imports, and a minister of the ruling People's Party in the central state has asked the Prime Minister to intervene to stop imports.
Bhopal: A row over the vibrating ring of condoms sold by a public-sector company intensified on Thursday as opposition parties demanded an immediate ban, with a minister of the ruling BJP seeking prime minister's intervention to stop imports.
State Council Secretary-General Manak Agarwal shared the concerns of Saffron leaders about the import of "sex toys" and their sale under the "Crezendo" brand, demanding an immediate ban on the product.
"The central state government should ban the sale and the center must send a notice to Hindustan Latex Co. , Ltd. , which is selling vibration rings with condoms, a State Council spokesman told PTI.
The left-wing party also strongly demanded a ban on Crezendo.

Minister Bahadur Singh dahagard said.
"Condoms should always be used as a preventive measure to control fertility.
"We should be notified," he said . "
Anand Prakash Pandey, senior SPI leader, expressed similar concerns as he sought to take quick steps to stop sales, saying family planning and preventive measures did not appear to be its motto.
Even in M. , chairman and general manager of HLL. ayappan clarified that Crezendo was not for self-entertainment, and after he promised to withdraw the packaging, the head of the National Council for the rights of persons with disabilities, Kailash vijavigia, sent a letter to Prime Minister Singh, he was asked to hold a meeting of the whole party to solve the problem.
