February 04, 2019: Delhi: In the first case, one woman raped another 19-year-
Delhi police have arrested an old woman, accusing her of raping a woman, the first case after the Supreme Court of India read out Article 377 of IPC.
In the landmark judgment, SC convicted the sex of consent between same-sex adults, bringing a wave of happiness.
But the Supreme Court highlighted the consent that was breached in this case.
What happened: the accused raped the victim using a sex toy. The victim claimed that the defendant tied the artificial male genitals to the waist with a belt and had anal sex.

She was booked in accordance with Section 164 of CrPc, Section 377 of IPC and the relevant sections of the prevention of unethical Trafficking Act.

Fact: The victim's lawyer explained that section 377th would apply, but Priyanka Dagar, the victim's lawyer, said that her client was forced, and section 377th only talked about sex agreed upon by both parties.

After months of consideration, the woman was finally arrested.
All the defendants have been sent to Tihar prison.
