Gardáí has identified 14 victims suspected of being abused by members of a pedophile gang in Munster.
Gardi is currently asking six women and five men who are all members of the extended family and are investigating the activities of the ring.
Garda may be dealing with the worst pedophile gang in the state's history, a source said.
They are suspected of allowing strangers to rape and sexually abuse the children in exchange for cash.
The suspects, ranging in age from 20 to 70, are Irish nationals.
It is understood that the victim's age ranges from toddlers to children aged 12, both male and female.
The 11 suspects were detained in a major Garda operation across three counties, involving local officials and detectives of a unit dedicated to child abuse and family crimes.

Last night's raids and arrests were the culmination of investigations that have been underway since the beginning of last year.
Officials said details about the sexual abuse and exploitation of young victims were "shocking ".
They say it seems that the abusive has been operating as part of an organized sexual ring and knows each other.
Child care services were informed of the abuse and kept in close contact with gardáí during the inquiry.
The nursing agency was informed of the arrest last night.
More than a year ago, Tusla was told about alleged abuse when some children were taken care.
The information triggered a Garda survey that began and spread from West Limerick to other counties.
The suspects were arrested in a series of raids in Limerick county, Cork County and tipeli County.
According to section 1984 of the Criminal Justice Act, they were held last night at Garda stations in Limerick, Cork and Clare.
Most of the suspects were detained at Garda station in Limerick.
But two others were held in Shannon and Ennis.
They are aged 30 and 40 respectively.
Under this legislation, they can hold up to 24 hours free of charge, excluding the rest period.
The victims are from a region in west Limerick.
