Huffington Post: Why did you decide to make this sex toy?
Why is it important that we have sex toys that specifically meet the needs of transgender men?
Buck Angel: This Trans Sex Toy needs to be made and I have been advocating for years.
The reason, in my opinion, is that many transgender people I 've spoken to, toys are fun and they allow you to experience your body in a way that doesn't have a toy-they encourage you to explore.
Some transgender people have talked to me about not wanting to touch their genitals, especially the vagina, as they have no connection with the genitals as men.

What exists in the market is made for cisgender people.
The genitals are different for transgender men, which means they have different needs.
In order for the product to be useful to us, many of us have to change the product.
One of the things I did before was to use a Nipple Suction device or a cisgender masturbation and cut it to fit my anatomy.

What is the process of making and testing toys like?
I was lucky to meet Steve.
When I put the idea to him in less than five minutes, he said, "Man, it's not a good idea, let's do that.
"So we started a design meeting and I brought the toys I used and the toys of my friends.
I showed Steve how we can use these.
Then he starts to sketch and then we start to fine tune.
We made a few samples and I used them and gave feedback on what was needed.
When Steve returned to the drawing board, the money was born!
It was a great process because I already knew what I wanted and Steve was a great designer so we both achieved it together.
How do we get therapists and sex educators to start using this toy in their practice?
This has already started and I really think this is one of the reasons for such an important product.
I hope to be able to impart this knowledge to all healthcare professionals to show how important it is to connect with your body through a sexual transition.
I speak at many mental health and sex education meetings and I am very popular.
