Natal was accused of raping his stepdaughter for five years on Monday.
Community members hold the law in their own hands and confront the suspect when he comes home from work.
"He was surrounded and severely attacked when he tried to escape.
Residents entered his home and found some sex toys, underwear and pornographic videos.
"The child admitted that she used sex toys on her body," said Vinod Singh, South Africa's business operations manager.

South African members were informed of the use of condoms after a neighbor found them at the suspect's home.
After asking about the little girl, it is said that she has been raped by her stepfather since her mother died five years ago.
"He sealed all the windows in their house and kept her at home while he was working.
Nor did he let her in so that she would not tell anyone about the rape and abuse she had experienced.
Singh added that the suspect allegedly asked his stepdaughter and other men to sleep to subsidize his income as a mechanic.
The man is currently in detention at the Verulam police station.
