Police said on Wednesday that staff at a German butcher's shop were shocked to find a customer hiding two sex toys in a sausage ready for shipment to Dubai.
A spokesman for the police in the southwestern city of Mannheim said: "These are two natural latex false penis . ".
After shopping there earlier in the day, the man who could speak diminutive English returned to the butcher's shop with two large "schwadden Magen" sausages.
He asked a clerk to wrap them up and cool them down until he went to Dubai the next day.
But the assistant noticed the weight of the goods and informed the police.
Police found the 50-year-old man taking some meat and packing his penis inside.
"He could have used a loaf of bread," the spokesman said . ".
"It's not against the law here.
But obviously I can't guess what Dubai Customs would say about it.
