According to a new study, most women who watch gay porn think of themselves as men in sexual fantasies.
A criminal scientist at the University of Leicester believes that the proportion of women watching gay porn is high because they don't have to worry about or feel guilty for female performers in the scene, unlike heterosexual porn.
Participants in the study were used as the basis for a new book, Girls Who Like Boys: porn and porn for women and gay men, and men prefer to participate in porn activities than women.
The study also showed that 37 of all gay male pornography shown on PornHub were viewed by women.
According to Dr. Lucy Neville, lecturer in criminology at the University of Leicester, 55 of the women interviewed considered themselves the opposite sex.
500 women studied as part of five programs
The year-long program watched men in male erotic.
While some people will be surprised to see women enjoying the presence of m/m explicit media, it is increasingly accepted that this may not be as rare as originally thought, Dr. Neville said.
Over the past two years, gay male porn has been the second most popular choice for female users of PornHub.
Dr. Neville said pornhub estimates that women account for their m/m porn audience, suggesting that women are viable secondary consumers of m/m porn.
Dr. Neville looked at how women produce and consume different types of pornography.
From slashfic (involving the study of sexual relations between same-sex characters) to erotic texts and visual pornography.
The findings, published in the book "Girls Who Like Boys: female and gay male pornography and pornography", investigate how women use gay male porn media in line with perceptions of gender and sexuality.
According to the book, women are eager to flip the "male gaze" that is prevalent in pornographic films and mainstream films ".
"Male view" refers to the way many visual arts portray women from a male perspective.
It is often believed that women are sexual objects that appear there for the pleasure of men.
For some women who rape and abuse survivors, male pornography is one of the few types of porn media they can enjoy that are not triggered or re-triggeredtraumatised.
The age range of women included in this study is not clear.
The study also showed that for women who like BDSM (involving bondage, discipline, domination and submission, abuse), two or more participants of the same sex were canceled
The dynamics of gender power are presented from the scene.
In May, researchers found that people trying to suppress their thinking might eventually think more about it.
This study called "God, I can't stop thinking about sex" investigates the differences between Jewish Orthodox teenagers and secular teenagers.
In general, the study found that religious teenagers were more concerned about sexual thoughts and were less likely to report
More likely to try to suppress the idea.
The first survey of 661 teenagers found that religious people pay more attention to unwanted sexual ideas than secular teenagers, also known as forced sex.
A second survey of 522 adolescents found that religious adolescents reported lower health status
The researchers believe that this is related to their concern about CSB.
A final study interviewed 317 teenagers and found that religious teenagers were more likely to report attempts to curb unwanted sexual thoughts and fantasies, leading to more forced sex and lowerbeing.
