In their 40 s, they never thought they would have sex in their 60 s.
"At that time, 60 was old," says Karen, 66 . ".
"I didn't expect me to be alive," said Tang, 67 . ".
Twenty years later, however, the couple who asked not to use their real names began an effort to maintain sexual relations for as long as possible.
"At age 65, you have to decide whether you want to be active or disappear.

A one-year-old retired occupational therapist has maintained a relationship with her husband since he met in college in 1979.
Now they have two knee replacement surgeries with occasional hip pain, but they are still looking for intimate soft spots and trying sex toys.

"I think what I 've noticed in others is that their children are grown up so they're ready to try new things.
They are still afraid of what people will say, so it is still a secret.
But they are willing to admit that they are sexually active and curious.

"As more and more baby boomers enter old age, they seem determined not to enter that wonderful night gently.
