Photos of the 3 mile beach adopted the fierce battle between the nudist at Penticton beach and the indignant owners who wanted them to get out of bed have moved online and will soon come to the town hall, could eventually be brought to court.
Last summer, the controversy made headlines after an owner erected a fence to prevent the nudist who had gathered on the hidden beaches of Lake Okanagan for years.
In response, the nudist moved to the adjacent public beach, which caused them to conflict with the public.
The beach battle will be discussed for the first time on Monday in the city council of Penticton, when a delegation of concerned residents will "discuss on behalf of the community, real estate and winery owners, according to the council agenda on Monday.
In a letter included in the agenda, a resident described in detail the grievances of some of the neighbors about "the continuing issue of nudity and sexuality on Three Mile public beaches.
