This morning, host Philip Scofield spoke after media regulator Ofcom launched a survey of the recent "beginner's bondage" feature, inspired by 50 shades of gray.
Ofcom received more than 120 complaints on daytime television coverage, including interviews with a "sex expert" and a range of sex toys.
Schofield said it was always "breaking the line" this morning ".
Ofcom's complaints about "any slight anger," he said, "must be ill to death ".
"In the past, people used to pick up the phone and complain, or write a letter," Schofield said . " Schofield presented this section with Christine Bleakley on February 3.
"But now they go to Ofcom and they're definitely sick of it all.
There's a slight anger from anyone, and they will go to Ofcom.
They must have been overwhelmed by minor complaints.
Ofcom said last week that it "started a survey on whether the" beginner's bondage "project is suitable for airing before the watershed ".
Inspired by the release of the gray movie 50 degrees, it sees sex toys, including eye masks, belts and collars, and "feather spanking" discussed with "sex expert" Annabel Knight
The product also shows models of wearing exposure.
"As far as I'm concerned, it's always broken this morning," Schofield said . ".
"Richard and Judy did this when they first launched Viagra, this is the first time we do a testicle test, and the first time we do it, hoping to protect ourselves from breast cancer, people get angry, armed to the teeth.
"It's a shocking, shocking TV.
From the first day of this morning, we have saved countless lives.
"Obviously, I'm not saying that bondage will save anyone's life, but what we do is reflect on what others were doing or talking about at the time," he added . ".
"Everyone went to see the movie, and if you look at what we have there, it's something very innocent, and it's also very notable when it's done, we sold out everything in an instant.
"So behind those closed, angry Central England gates, what they secretly do is buy these things online.
"This morning is a lifestyle project that covers a wide variety of topics of human interest," said a spokesman for the program when the Ofcom survey was announced.
"The programme has dealt with the proposal of the problem many times in the past and has issued appropriate announcements at the beginning.
