Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry sandarski asked the judge on Thursday to overturn his conviction for child sexual abuse and to put him on a new trial, claiming that his lawyer did not have enough time to prepare, the statute of limitations for some allegations has expired.
Sandusky's lawyer filed an appeal in Bellefonte's court, two weeks after he was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison for abusing 10 boys, some on the campus of Penn State University.
They said there was not enough evidence to support the conviction.
