Semen acts as an anti-depressant - anal sex toys for men
Make You Happy by Raj PersaudSemen.
This is a striking conclusion of a study that compared women with partners who wear condoms with women whose partners do not.
This study, which is bound to be controversial, suggests that women who have direct access to semen are less depressed.
Researchers believe this is because of emotions.
Hormones altered in semen are absorbed through the vagina.
They said they excluded other explanations.
"I want to make it clear that we don't advocate that people don't use condoms," said Gordon Gallup, a psychologist at State University of New York who led the team.
"Obviously, accidental pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases can offset any beneficial psychological effects of semen.
"His team divided 293 female students into groups based on the frequency of their partner wearing condoms and used the Baker Depression Scale to assess their level of happiness, a standard questionnaire for assessing emotions.
Those who scored more than 17 points were considered moderate depression.
The team found that women whose partners had never used condoms scored an average of 8 points, and sometimes women who used condoms scored 10 points.
5, usually use 15 points, usually use 11 points. 3.
Women who did not have sex scored 13 points. 5.
Also, since the last time they had sex, the longer the interval, the more frustrated the women who never or sometimes used condoms.
But since the last sexual contact, time has had no effect on the mood of women who usually or always use condoms.
The team also found that women who frequently use condoms are more prone to depressive symptoms and suicide attempts than women who do not use them regularly.
The results will be published in the journal Sex archives.
Gallup told the New Scientist that his team already had unpublished data from 700 women to confirm the findings.
In this study,use-
The condom group is more depressed than usual-use-
The condom team believes that the difference in the smaller study is a sampling error, he said.
But is semen really affecting women's emotions?
The researchers said they looked at another explanation, such as whether women who rarely use condoms take oral contraceptives, how often do they have sex, the intensity of the relationship, the possibility of having a certain personality affects the decision to use a condom.
But none of these factors explain their findings, they say.
In fact, the results are not entirely surprising because there are indeed multiple emotions in semen
Changes in hormones, including testosterone, estrogen, follicles-
Progesterone, prolactin, and several different prolipines.
Some of them have been detected in female blood within hours of exposure to semen.
The question many people will ask is whether oral sex will have the same mood --
Enhance the effect.
"Since steroids in the pill survive during digestion, I think at least some of the chemicals in the semen are the same," Gallup said . ".
"I know that it's not uncommon in some gay men with anal sex to try to keep semen for a long time," he added . ".
"Of course, this suggests that there may be psychological effects.
"But further research is needed to confirm whether exposure to semen through oral sex or anal sex really affects the mood of the opposite sex or gay partner.
But why does semen have such an effect?
"The development of this phenomenon is meaningless to me," said Satoshi Kanazawa, an evolutionary psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania in Indiana.
But Gallup retorted that men with semen for a long time
The word "emotional enhancement" may have more opportunities to indulge in sexual behavior.
