According to CNN, the male passenger who brought the bag at the beginning told the authorities that when asked about the bag, it contained "technical stuff", which may have been out of embarrassment.

After more than an hour, D was opened after a bomb team had cleared the bag.
The DPA report shows that not only was one found in the passenger's luggage, but also multiple personality toys were found.
"The police investigation is over," the airport service said on Twitter after twelve o'clock P. M. on Tuesday.
"Terminal D is reopened.
However, the handling of passengers may be further damaged.
