The boy, who did not make public appearances outside the court, stood for more than three hours on the fourth day of the criminal trial of the teacher at Westchester County Court.
29-year-old Marci Stein, a former special education teacher at MONTROSE Hendrick Hudson High School, was accused of having sex with three teenage boys at the school between April 1999 and January 2000.
The authorities said two boys were 16 years old and the other was 14 years old at the beginning of the abuse. Mrs.
Stan was forced to resign from high school in March 2000, and five months later was charged with 1 statutory rape, 5 sodomy, and 5 sexual abuse, illegal treatment of two counts of children and three counts endangering the welfare of children.
If she is convicted of rape or sodomy, which is a felony, she will face up to four years in prison for each charge.
