The Good and Bad From One Airline's Overpriced Business Class Cabin - massager

NEW YORK (TheStreet)--
Inspired by Henry brojette's excellent work on Business Insider earlier this year, I decided to document my experience in the business class on the fly.
When Blodget flew from New York to Lufthansa Airlines in duseldorf, I experienced the business class in my own semi-Air
Private pod with full setrecline, lie-
The back seat of Air Canada.
That's a seat for my neighbor.
I will include more vantage points at the back of this article.
Air Canada's media relations staff revealed to me an important difference in my flight service category. On my flight --
Flight 792 from Los Angeles to Toronto by Boeing (BA -Get Report)767-300 --
I received business class services for Air Canada's international business class seating configuration.
Although I 'd rather be on one of these monsters (
I have never flown before)
Or Virgin America (
After them, IPOwe will write it as a stock code! )
I often see Airbus numbers in the background above.
Anyway, Air Canada's cabin is like it's in a long place
International flights
In fact, the Boeing I took was the aircraft on these routes.
But the service is different.
It goes faster on adventure routes outside North America.
On the follow-up page of this article, I will illustrate the experience of the blowby-
Blow the picture and use a few words (or more)beside each.
But first there are some ideas, including one or two key ideas.
Leaving the service category aside, I went through something I never experienced on this flight.
Although I have been on many planes, it is very strange.
I can even say it's disturbing.
About 15 before departure-
20 minutes, just a few minutes after we left, about the last hour of the flight, I (
Or US, because it was not lost by my passengers)
Dogs can be heard in the cargo compartment under the business class.
I'm not sure what are the rules and regulations governing the transport of live animals, but, boy, when barking is fully in effect, I feel like I'm watching TV commercials that abuse animals.
The ones that Sally strouthers tells, when they start tearing your heart, they feel like they will never end.
Please note that this may cause any emotional or sensory discomfort to me and I do not complain. . .
I just feel sorry for the dog.
Maybe science shows that dogs are fine by barking, but, even so, I never let my dog experience this.
Someone needs to take a stronger dose or do something different next time.
My other complaint-
I don't want to feed Louis CK either. -butno WiFi! In 2014?
How is business class without WiFi?
There is no excuse for not having WiFi.
Agreement with GoGo (GOGO -Get Report)
Make sure every plane that leaves the ground, no matter how long it stays in the air or where it is going, has WiFi.
In addition, the business class in the Air Canada international business class configuration is very good.
But it's a luxury and I wouldn't recommend it to myself unless you really, really can afford it.
Is the upgrade cost of about $800 worth it (
You can check-in)
In addition to the basic fare below $400 --way (
This is what I paid when booking my preferred seat in economy class 12 row on December)
Or from the information I collected, between $1200 and $3,000 at the time of booking? Absolutely not.
So don't do that if you're not a millionaire.
You 'd better put the cash somewhere else or save it.
I will receive first class service from Virgin America right away.
You can upgrade to it most of the time (at check-in)
About $300.
And while you don't get private pods or lies --
Flat seats, you can get almost everything else like the more expensive business class that Air Canada offers.
In fact, I think Sir Richard Branson needs fashion and commissioning a license plate frame that says: I 'd rather fly on Virgin America.
Virgin Atlantic seats are also comfortable.
Food selection on the standard bar.
Better choice of drinks.
Virgin also won entertainment options with live TV.
However, as an honorary Canadian who grew up at the border and loved Canadian television, he was able to watch (limited)on-
Requirement programming from CBC.
I spent two hours with Peter Mansbridge and George Straum brompas, interviewing Chris Ha, a Canadian astronaut from the great Bobby Orr to the awesome
So, on the experience, on the picture. . .
I was impressed by the boarding process.
When Air Canada creates a separate line (
In practice, this becomes a group of people who have nowhere to go in a hurry)
It doesn't really break down the boarding process.
In theory, priority ticket holders have their own lines, but they are processed on the plane while submitting documents through the economic line.
At least this is my flight.
On Virgin America flights, priority tickets not only provide a priority pass through airport security, but also provide pre-
Get on your flight
I don't understand how airlines charge for priority services without this feature. Anyhow . . .
Looking better at the seats, this is definitely one of the better seats I 've ever sat in.
Granted, I'm 5 feet, 6 inch tall, but you can see how spacious these seats are in this photo.
When I sat up almost straight, my feet barely touched the footrest opposite my pod.
Seating Service and other features. . .
It's standard, but you can choose newspapers. -
National Postal Service Canada or global postal service.
Of course, there's hockey on the front page.
As a hockey fan
After all, the trip was specially made to watch the leaf race on the past Saturday night)
It's always great in Canada.
Hockey is the life and breathing of this country.
Culture also exudes it.
You can't escape.
Former Maple Leaf and current Los Angeles King Scout Irene McCauley are on my flight.
I think he came to town on Saturday to see the leaves because they will be playing in Los Angeles this Thursday.
Customs officers talked to me about hockey for five minutes during my interrogation.
And NHL-
Rent for brand enterprisesA-
Car Counter: return flight. . .
This is the best flight map I see on the screen that pops up from the console.
A warm towel before departure.
Or just passed?
This is definitely after takeoff.
Then there was the appetizer, which I classified as salad and airplane meal salad, which was above average.
Although there are a bit more lettuce wrapped in cucumber slices.
The salmon is really great.
I can't cook well at home.
However, most of the other passengers ordered beef in my opinion. And dessert . . .
Apologies for the blurry image, but this is vanilla ice cream with warmish chocolate cookies and cold spoons on it.
I have enough time and all kinds of in-
Seating amenities include your own personal power outlets, USB ports, and places to plug in headphones in case you do not want to use the headphones provided by Air Canada.
Like Blodget, it took me a while to figure out how to use the seat controls, including the massager.
I still don't know how to use it.
All of this, when I left the plane for the terminal, I questioned whether I was rationally leaving the good weather in Southern California to get into the place, even though the chaos in Toronto improved.
You can see the cold!
