A study on American sex shows that American teenagers are more likely to use condoms than adults.
Sexual activity found in the national sexual health and sexuality survey 14 to 17-year-olds -
80 boys and 69 girls
Condoms were used during the last one-time delivery, compared to less than half of adults having casual sex. Dr J.
Dennis Fortenberry, a pediatric professor at Indiana University School of Medicine who compiled the study, said teenagers are now better prepared for sex.
"Many surveys of adolescent sexuality give the impression that adolescents become sexually active when they are young and that most teenagers have sex," he said . ".
"Our data shows that having sex with a partner is important, but it is by no means a common problem in the lives of teenagers.
In fact, many contemporary teenagers take responsibility for sex by abstain or using condoms.
"In all age groups, condom use was found to be higher in black and Hispanic Americans than in white Americans and other ethnic groups.
The survey also found that men still have unrealistic ideas about their sexual abilities.
Most men have had orgasm during sex, and 85 men think their partner has had orgasm as well.
