Sex other than sexual intercourse has some risk of sexually transmitted diseases, and doctors should make sure their patients understand that, according to the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).
In order to prevent pregnancy and reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, many people may have \"non-sexual\" behaviors such as oral sex, masturbation and anal sex.
However, according to the ACOG committee of experts, all of these behaviors have a certain level of STD risk and it is still important for people to protect themselves.
\"Most people, including teenagers, are less likely to use condoms during oral sex, which puts them at risk of sexually transmitted diseases,\" Dr.
Richard Guido, one of the report\'s authors, said in an ACOG statement.
\"Part of the reason for this possibility is that people feel safer than having sex.

They recommend using \"correct and consistent\" condoms for all types of sex, especially vaginal and anal sex.

The committee notes that another preventive measure is the cleaning of sexual toys during use.
It is recommended that all sexually active women, aged 25 or under, conduct an annual screening of chlamydia, while all sexually active adolescents should undergo a screening of gonostatic.
