Amazon doesn\'t seem to understand why some customers receive mysterious packages containing unwanted sex toys.
The latest case involved a woman opening an unsolicited package only to find a high
Finally, there is a sex toy for $25 ($17.
The woman, identified only as Nikki, told The Daily Beast that she thought it was a mistake until she received more Amazon packages containing items she did not order.
A stranger also sent her headphones and wires to the Bluetooth device, each without a receipt and paid with a gift card, so it was almost impossible to track.
Scrolling down to see the video and confusion, she contacted Amazon\'s customer service team and got some answers and finally stopped the odd package.
To her dismay, Amazon has little information about why a suspicious package was sent to her.
According to The Daily Beast, Amazon said the unsolicited package mailed to Nikki was \"part of some of the bad behaviors we are investigating \".
A source close to Amazon also said that most unsolicited packages contain sex toys.
An Amazon spokesperson told Mail Online that we are investigating inquiries from consumers who have received unsolicited packages as this would violate our policy.
\"We have confirmed that the seller concerned has not received the name or delivery address from Amazon . \" \"We violated our policy by canceling payments from sellers and working with law enforcement to take appropriate action, the spokesman added.
Nikki is worried that the sender may be someone who lives in her city and will feel uncomfortable living in her own home.
She also cited a recent report about a Web tracker using Amazon\'s anonymous gift service to send a vivid female novel.
Nikki told The Daily Beast that she was finally able to determine the sender\'s full name and status by \"guessing and checking the game\" with a customer service employee.
The employee told Nikki that she could guess the name and that they would say yes or no \".
Nikki eventually got the police involved because she felt Amazon didn\'t take her concerns seriously.
\"I know very well that no one can help me, many people just don\'t want to,\" she explained . \".
Nikki is not the first Amazon customer to receive a strange, unwanted package because many users in the US and Canada have filed similar complaints.
Several universities in Canada have also received anonymous packages with vibrators, \"Meat Light\" sex toys, light bulbs and kitchen scales.
A total of 40 unsolicited items were sent to the university.
A couple in Boston said they received several random Amazon packages with USB-
Desktop fan, humidifier, phone charger and computer vacuum cleaner.
Two former Amazon employees said the issue could be the result of a comment scam, with savvy sellers trying to play games with Amazon\'s system that prioritizes reviews for \"verified purchases\"
Some sellers may send packages via a virtual account so the account can leave 5-star reviews.
From there, the product is pushed up in the user\'s search results.
However, a spokesman for Amazon told the Daily Beast that this theory seems unlikely.
So far, our survey shows that there are very few comments related to these goods, the spokesman said.
Nikki\'s name and address are more likely to be removed from the mailing list or distributed as part of the data breach on other websites.
