Residents of a group of nursing homes have proved that Christmas is far from children\'s play.
They tested some of the most popular toys this year.
This year, toys like LOL Surprise, WowWee finger, Toilet glitch game, laser X laser game set and Stretch Armstrong are among the most important in the wish list for Irish children.
We decided to go and see if they called to go beyond the generation gap, so we came to desuncula, Kildale, the home of lawn care at desuncula, to work together to give the residents an opinion.
Dr. Liam O\'Brien, Dr. Nicky Hanrahan, Vera Farrell, Nancy McGuirke, Margaret Cullen and Mary Stack all volunteered to be our toy testers.
As Margaret said, the WowWee finger fish is particularly popular: \"He is cute and I like dogs or cats.
\"Vera and Nancy like to test how big the elasticity of Armstrong really is because they joked that the statue would be cold without clothes to wear.
Nancy also said that although gifts have changed a lot since childhood, Christmas is always a special moment for her.
